She smiled looking up at him. “You like it here, don’t you baby?” she said leaning back against him. “if you want…we can move back here..” but its all up to you… 

Siren smiled as his mom stepped forward. “We’ll help you find a place to stay” 

Tahno didn’t really know what to do, But he wanted to do what was best for Siren. And really, He wanted to be by her side the whole time they were in the North pole, He didn’t trust her Stepfather one bit. “I want you to be Safe.” He gave her a kiss on the forehead. But he also wanted to do what made her happy.

Smiling she looked up at him. “Its really up to you darling…” she hugged him, looking up at him. “I know you’ll make the right decision..”  Truth was she didn’t really care what happened as long as she was with him.

Siren held his hand. “I love you..” she muttered to him. “so lets head back home to the city…” Thinking of what was going to happen, she put her hands on her stomach. “We need to think of whats best for BOTH of us..” she looked at him. “your all I care about Tahno…” 

“Lets head home..” 

Tahno nodded and kissed her once more, He left a single arm wrapped around her to lead her back to where ever they were going. “Do you want to stay for the night? Or just head home now?” He rested his forehead against hers, Giving small little kisses in between sentences. “I want to do what will make you the most comfortable.”

“Something on your mind?” He interrupted her stumbling words. He found her pink cheeks and her struggle to talk cute. Everything she did seemed to make him more attracted to her. 

“N-No I’m…I’m fine.” She muttered, burying her face into his neck. She normally wasn’t like this, she normally had more self-confidence. So why the hell was it that whenever their skin touched it sent sparks throughout her bloodstream?

“You seem a bit distracted.” He kept his calm smirk on his face as he was sure to keep her body pressed against his. He could feel her heart beat, That’s how he knew he was close enough to her. 

She held back a moan and bit her lip, taking in a staggering breath. She wrapped her arms tighter around him and felt her blush rise as well. She moved closer to him once more, nipping at his neck softly. Hey, she could be a tease too!

Tahno simpered, He was a bit surprised about that, But he wasn’t going to stop her. He turned his head so she could have as much access as wanted. “Mm…” 

Her blush darkened and she bit into his neck harder, running her hands down his body, catching his hands with hers and pulling them up to rest on her hips. She let out a small moan, her body shivering against his. 

Tahno slid his hands from her hips to her lower back, A little moan escaping his lips as she bit harder. He quietly mumbled a curse to himself as he let one hand roam from her lower back to her ass, Giving a light, Teasing squeeze.

The smile on Tahno’s face is enough to make her own widen, and she comes closer, sitting across from him. “Allright, so what do ya like to do when not gettin’ dragged about by crazy swamp girls?” She pushes dark hair out of her face, and noticing the ivy still about her wrists, she takes the time to untwist them by hand and fill a bowl of water by hand, letting the plants float on top and rejuvenate.

“I’m good with just about anything. But all non-benders have been under pretty tight watch.. What about you?” Tahno asked as he shifted positions. Leaning a forward as he propped his arms on his lap. 

Her face darkens as he reminded her of the curfew, and if he listens close, he could hear her mutter ‘stupid fuckin’ idjits’ under her breathe. She takes a long drink of her tea, obviously taking the moment to calm herself down. “I would say the same, but I don’t want to get ya in trouble. Let me see if we’ve got anything to do here. Most of what I’s got is drawings, books, and plants. Don’t think yah be real interested in those.” She leaves her cup behind as she goes off into the back, coming back out with a dusty deck of cards. “Do yah know how to play these?” Before laughing loudly. “I must seem like the biggest idji…idiot to yah.” the idiot is said slowly, obviously controlling her accent. “I don’t even know what I’m doing. I didn’t really plan beyond getting you the tea to help ya.” She shakes her head, hand put to her forehead as she thinks of how stupid she is.

“You don’t have to try and impress me. You definitely know more than i do.” His smile became more relaxed at her fumbling. “I haven’t really ever played cards.” He chuckled a bit, Rubbing the back of his neck. He had played cards, But it had been a while a go, He couldn’t really remember. 

“I don’t know how to play them either, we didn’t really have ‘em in the Swamp.” It was too humid, the cards would rot in a few months. “And trust me, I don’t know that much either.” facing away from him, towards a window, she smacks the deck, knocking the dust off, before laying them down, turning them over to look at them for a minute. They were divided by the elements, each card having a number that counted from 1 to 10, and then each element suit having 4 cards that had different spirits associated with the elements, one of each being the animal teacher.

“Okay, so we got cards that count up, and then these funny spirit cards.” She holds up one with the animal teacher, the badgermole for earthbenders. “I’m guessing this is the highest card? For the Earth cards at least? We’ll make up our own game.

“You know what you’re talking about with the herbs at least.” That was definitely more than Tahno knew. The reason Tahno was struggling so much with being a nonbender was because the only thing he knew how to cook was water tribe noodles, And he struggled doing daily chores. He had to learn new ways to do them and it took a lot more time that way. “Doesn’t sound like a bad idea. But how do you suggest we do that..?” 

She taps her finger against her chin, looking at the cards. “Allright, I guess first off, we should divide up the cards.” She picks up the cards, splitting it roughly in half, handing him the slightly larger deck. “Hold up.” She goes back into the back, pulling out a notebook and a pencil. As she flips to a blank page, Tahno could see rough sketches of different spirits and a few strange waterbending moves. Once she finds a blank page, she rips it out, drawing two columns, putting a t in one and l in another. “Okay, now this is for points, allright? So let’s see, we’ll each pull a card, and depending on the element and number, we’ll get points. Whoever gets the highes’ card wins the round, but whoever gets the most points at the end, wins the game. Sound okay? Or too boring?”

“Sounds good to me.” Tahno gave a nod, Repeating the rules in his head to make sure he understood. “Ladies first~” Every now and then Tahno would get his old smooth, Confidence back. And it usually only came with certain things he said, It was usually if he was flirting. And that was one of those moments.

Seeing Tahno without his bending was one thing she never saw coming. Korra felt completely different about him since that night. Before, she loved his smart mouth and they way he talked gave her chills up her spine. She fantasized about Tahno, even during her most private times. But now, she saw him in a completely different way. Her dreams with Tahno were a sign, unknown to her before the finals. She was beginning to lose her mind when the thought of him came up. She wondered all day after their small talk at the police station about what she had felt between the two of them. She felt it was similar to the feelings she had for Mako. But they were completely different at the same time. Her heart strings were pulled one day as she walked by the sad looking ex-water bender.

“Tahno, hey.”

Tahno enjoyed Korra’s short temper, The way she didn’t care if she didn’t fit in, The way she blew him off, It all intrigued him. But that night Amon took his bending, Everything changed. He lost everything he knew, Fangirls, Probending, Friends. He didn’t try to uphold his Cool guy act anymore. Amon took his pride, You could see that by his careless clothes and messy hair. Judging by the dark circles under his eyes, He hadn’t slept much either. Maybe he was having Nightmares just like Korra did? He heard his name and looked only to see who’s been on his mind since that night.
“Hey, Uh-vatar.” His voice was a bit different, Not as smooth. It was a lot more downtrodden. He shoved his hands in his pockets, His grey hues focused on the ground. 

His voice… It was different still. She missed his deep and chilling voice. Sitting next to Tahno, she turned to him, feeling sadness from him.

“Are you feeling okay?” She knew he lost bending, but seeing him this way, it was like he lost everything.

Tahno turned his head to her, Slouching a bit. His hair hanging in his face Carelessly. “I’m making it..” It seemed to be getting harder for him each day. He hated even using water. It brought back memories, One’s that he frankly didn’t want to remember. “How’s things going for you?” He had heard about the things happening lately, Republic city was going downhill rather quickly.

She sighed at his reply. She wanted Tahno to feel better, like he was more than just a waterbender in the Wolfbats pro-bending team. “I’m doing okay, I guess. Not much has been going on really. Haven’t been looking for equalists because I’ve got other things on my mind.” She paused for a moment, gathering her thoughts. Was she going to tell him what she has been thinking about? She wasn’t sure. Korra was afraid he would reject her feelings for him. She knew it. She did like Tahno. More so than Mako, in fact. But what was she to do? Tahno was going through a tough time, why add relationships to the mix.

“What do you have on your mind, Uh-vatar?” Tahno felt a bit more relaxed, More comforted, As if being with Korra made everything he wished didn’t happen bearable. He hadn’t ever had these feelings for someone. It was more than just attraction. But he chose to ignore it. She was the Avatar, She had more important things to worry about, And better people to be with. Why hold her back? 

His question made her hesitate. Her hands shook a bit, but she shook her head and calmed down. “You…” She admitted. She was so afraid of rejection she almost turned around to leave.

“Me?” Tahno couldn’t really grasp that. But it was a more than satisfying answer. “Why have I been on your mind?” He wasn’t sure if it were for Pity, Or the reason he had been thinking about her. He had noticed the way she looked at Mako, She obviously liked him. So it He was more than sure it was only for Pity. He didn’t want anyone’s pity. Not even hers. 

“There is something you don’t know about me, Tahno…” Her palms began to sweat against the knees of her pants where she was pushing all her weight. Korra’s inability to look into the ex-bender’s eyes terrified her. Was he going to reject her? If he was, she didn’t want to be looking at her. With her cheeks feeling as if they were on fire and her heart feeling as if it was going to jump out of her chest, she waited for his reply.

“Why don’t you enlighten me, Uh-vatar? I can keep a secret..” He sounded a bit more confident, Like his old cocky self, Maybe it was just in the moment? But any way you put it it was happening. He wasn’t her enemy anymore, He didn’t have to intimidate her by his bending. All he had to do was keep calm and not go all depressed. But he didn’t have that fear.

Without thinking about anything Korra threw herself towards Tahno, locking lips with him. She wasn’t sure if this was okay but she couldn’t hold back any longer. The feelings she had were exploding in her heart like fireworks. She waited for him to respond, still kissing Tahno.

Tahno didn’t hesitate one second to wrap his arms around her, Kissing her deeply. This confirmed the way she felt. He dropped all of the things on his mind. This was the only thing he had on his mind.

Separating her lips from his, she stared into his grey eyes. “Tahno…” She didn’t know what else to say. Had he accepted her feelings or had he felt the same way? She wasn’t sure of his feelings

“Uh-vatar..” Tahno wasn’t the best at expressing this kind of feeling. Especially now. But his confidence was really built right back up knowing that even Korra liked him. He was still the same douche on the inside.

 Tahno spoke his peace and there wasn’t anything else he could do. He knew violence wouldn’t be the answer here, No matter how much he wanted to just punch him. He walked out to join Siren.

Siren saw Tahno walk out and she hugged him. “I missed you..”she nuzzled under his chin. “You’re amazing…” she mumbled. Siren looked over at his parents who were smiling. “You two are cute together” they mused. Sirens blush deepened. “Baby…when do you want to go back to the city?” 

Tahno smiled a bit and wrapped his arms around her tightly. “Anytime you want to go anywhere, I swear i’ll be right by your side. It’s all up to you.” He kept his arms around her, He like the feeling of the North Pole, He hadn’t really realized how much he had missed the cold weather until now.

Tahno rested his head against hers. “Don’t be.” He didn’t like pity, It made him feel weak. He only lost his bending, could handle this.. Couldn’t he? He kept his arms around her. He felt comforted by her concern.
